Andrew Carswell
is the head of
litigation and
specialises in
civil /
commercial work.
He qualified as
a solicitor in
1994 and became
a Partner at
Dickinson Manser
in 2002.
Andrew
undertakes
general
commercial
litigation for
the firm’s
business
clients,
including
contractual
disputes,
commercial
property issues,
employment
advice and
professional
negligence. He
also advises
private
individuals on
civil matters,
in particular in
respect of
disputes
involving
property
ownership,
contentious
probate and
inheritance
claims. Andrew
is one of the
few local
members of the
Association of
Contentious
Trust and
Probate
Practitioners (ACTAPS).
Andrew is the
firm’s Training
Partner and the
Under Sheriff of
Poole. He has
also been
actively
involved with
the Bournemouth
and District Law
Society and is
presently
Parliamentary
Liaison Officer.
He is the Hon.
Solicitor of
Broadstone
Residents
Association.
Outside of the
office, Andrew
is married with
two children, a
member of a
tennis club and
a keen skier.
