Gary Cox
Senior Partner
Gary Cox is the firm’s Senior Partner. He studied law at Warwick University and qualified with a large city practice. Gary joined Dickinson Manser in 1976 and became a partner in 1978.
Gary deals with the full
range of private client
services, including Wills
and the administration of
estates. His
practice involves primarily
commercial work and the
management of trusts. Gary
is the solicitor to The
Poole Harbour Commissioners
and clerk to the Talbot
Village Trust ,as well as
being a trustee of a number
of substantial and
established trusts managed
by the firm for many years.
Professionally Gary has held
a number of appointments and
in 1998/9 was President of
the Bournemouth & District
Law Society. He is the Under
Sheriff of Dorset and for
almost 20 years was a Deputy
District Judge.
Outside of the office, Gary
enjoys the theatre, concerts
and is actively involved in
his local community.
